The Horrors’ frontman Faris Badwan is more than just a fierce voice – he draws ferociously too. The above images are extracted from an exhibition of over 100 of his drawings that showed at The Book Club in Hoxton, London throughout August.

Fuck everybody else, the world wants us to be happy
"It's about girls who sleep in abandoned cars and set things on fire. It's about the great things in life. The stars in the sky and lots of malt liquor." - Harmony Korine
Bookmarc
When he’s not busy designing clothes, Marc Jacobs fancies himself a bit of a bibliophile. Adding to his retail empire, he has just opened his first bookstore, the brilliantly titled Bookmarc, in New York's trendy Bleecker Street. The shop will sell art and photography books alongside vinyl records, Marc Jacobs notebooks, pencils, pens and CD's.
Not the first designer to go down the bookish route, Karl Lagerfeld opened a bookstore called 7L next to his photography studio on Rue Lille in Paris in 1999. He's also published books under his own imprint Édition 7L, a division of the German publishing company Steidl.
