Chemical Orb
Administering certain drugs to spiders has an effect on the structure of the webs they build. NASA experiments show spiders spin their webs in different ways according to the psychotropic drug they have been given. The more toxic the chemical, the more deformed was the web.

Severed Heads
I was lucky enough to see Severed Heads as part of Sydney Festival.
A selection of videos, both old and new.
All of my sheets are decorated with ink stains
I did this at home, in Los Angeles. It was inspired by a very old book Z gave me called "The Heritage of Dress" or something an Edward Gorey child may have dropped on a walk. I draw in bed, before I go to sleep. As a result all of my sheets are decorated with ink stains.

To Higher Places
Cavern Collection is the ongoing collaboration of ideas between Los Angeles based artists, Adam Tullie and Angeline Rivas. Primarily focused on a core base of original, hand-drawn offerings, the collection has expanded to include furniture, wall hangings, pillows, blankets, jewelry & accessories.
Cavern Collection has been featured in publications including Flaunt, Anthem, Elle, Refinery29, Wonderland, Nylon, & Style.com, while fans include Beck, Devendra Banhart, Natalie Portman, and members of The Strokes & Little Joy. In 2006, Beck requested Cavern to design shirts for his 2007 Japanese Tour along with including artwork to accompany his album, The Information. The duo has additionally created custom pieces for Devendra Banhart and collaborated with him on a variety of items that were sold on his 2008 world tour.

Clogs
I seem to be attracted to footwear that is so ugly it is (almost) cool. All winter I have been stomping around in blundstones and doc martens. Now that the weather has taken a turn on the sunny side, I'm finding myself increasingly drawn to clogs.
I'm not sure about Karl's take on the traditional ‘klompen' (Dutch for ‘painful torture of the foot'), but this Swedish label's interpretation is cute.
Available at the Bondi Funkis store, Pigeon Ground Records and Clothing and Gorman boutiques.
